2.5 thousand tankers with oil products have accumulated on the territory of Russia before entering the Crimean bridge and cannot enter the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. This is reported by Russian media, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
According to reports, there are currently restrictions on the movement of dangerous goods across the bridge. Therefore, oil products, including fuel for the Russian army, are transported to the territory of the temporarily occupied peninsula by ferries and tankers. Obviously, this is a rather complicated logistical process for the Russians, as about 2,500 tankers have already lined up for the crossing. Some of them have been there for six months, they claim.
It is also reported that Russia is facing a shortage of oil and petrol tanks. According to various estimates, this deficit ranges from several hundred to 45,000 tanks. As a solution to the problem, transport companies are proposing to extend the service life of containers, but the Russian railways have not yet accepted the proposal.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the last time at the facilities in Crimea yesterday, on 24 March. It targeted the 13th shipyard of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully hit the Russian large landing ships Yamal and Azov, a communications centre, as well as several infrastructure facilities of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
