On the eve of Easter, the social initiative Kind Hamper and the entertainment and educational show Craft Travels by UkrYutubProject presented three gastronomic sets consisting of craft products from local brands, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
Host Yevhen Synelnykov personally selected the content of each set while working on the episodes of Craft Travels.
Thegoal of the all-Ukrainian initiative is to help Ukrainians take care of their families and support small gastronomic businesses during the war. The project also encourages people to discover different parts of Ukraine through the tastes of local products.
The gastronomic baskets can be used to congratulate relatives, friends, colleagues and partners.
Each basket contains everything you need to celebrate Easter:
- fragrant pastries
- meat delicacies,
- cheese
- homemade snacks,
- desserts and healthy treats,
- drinks and candles.
Intotal, the kits feature more than 20 Ukrainian brands, including Polissia Delicacies, Dobra Ferma, Baker’s Hut, Kyiv Dry Jam, Syroman, Leleka Wines, Honey Candles, 13beans, Honey Line, and others.
The Kind Hamper team has been working with all of these craftsmen for a long time, helping dozens of small businesses to continue their favourite business even despite the war.
This year’s partner of the initiative is UkrYutubProject, which introduces authentic Ukraine and its people. In particular, in the Craft Travels episodes, host Yevhen Synelnykov travels around Ukraine and talks to craftsmen who create high-quality and exclusive local products.
“For me, one of the most important elements of travelling is food, so buying products from different regions of Ukraine allows me to be there while I’m at home. I also keep repeating: buy Ukrainian, support small businesses, keep your money in the country. It’s more important than ever before,”
– says Yevgeniy Sinelnikov.
Currently, the website allows you to pre-order one of the three gastronomy kits.
Theinitiative’s team asks that pre-orders be made by 30 April in order to deliver all the kits in time for the Easter table.
In Kyiv, the kits can be received via courier and Nova Poshta delivery, and in other cities of Ukraine – at Nova Poshta offices.
“Our Easter activity is special and has a twofold positive impact. Firstly, these sets contain not just products, but stories about the taste for life, daily work and the courage to look to the future. Secondly, this is a great opportunity to send warm hugs, say “I love you” from a distance and take care of your loved ones during the Easter holidays,”
– concludes Sergiy Goryunov, founder of the Kind Hamper project.
