Nadiia liberated in Luhansk region: Snegiryov explains how important it is for the frontline

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated the village of Nadiya in Luhansk region. This was reported by the Third Assault Brigade on March 23, according to

The expert claims that the capture of the village is important not only for Svatove, but also for Kupyansk direction, which is located to the north of the village.
“This indicates the stabilization of the situation in Svatove district. In addition, there are tactical successes of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kupyansk sector in the direction of Sankivka. We have regained previously lost positions. In general, this significantly strengthens the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Kupyansk sector, making it impossible to capture them as planned,”

According to him, the Defense Forces have significantly intensified their activities in Luhansk region over the past two days, in particular, they have been conducting precision strikes on enemy field depots in the area.
“Successful operations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have been reported at the moment of strikes using UAVs and, accordingly, means of striking. These are, in particular, the cities of Kreminna and Lysychansk. There are reports of arrivals at the points of permanent temporary dislocation of personnel, which, accordingly, significantly weakens the ability of Russian troops to attack in this area of the front,”

Liman direction – the situation is more complicated
At the same time, Snegiryov says, the situation remains complicated in the other direction – the Liman sector. The occupants are accumulating operational reserves there and are pressing towards Yampolivka. The situation near Bilohorivka is even more complicated.
“Unfortunately, there are tactical successes of the occupants in the area of Bilohorivka. They have taken control of the dominant heights. This complicates the situation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the area of Serebryanske forestry. That is, the main task of the occupation forces is to eliminate the presence of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the Serebryanske forestry,”

He notes that in this area, the Russians are actually trying to advance not so much towards the Lyman as towards the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration. And they need the Lyman to reach convenient borders with the idea of surrounding the agglomeration from the north and south.
“The distance from Yampolivka, the war zone, to the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration is up to 30 kilometers. That is, they will decide whether to go directly to this agglomeration and whether to cover the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in a planned manner,”
