Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 1110 occupants and 3 aircraft. Russian General Staff announces losses of Russian troops over the day

Russia’s losses in the war in Ukraine as of Sunday morning, 18 February, amount to 1, 080 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 402,430. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 3 aircraft. This was reported by with reference to the Telegram of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 18.02.24 are approximately
- personnel – about 402,430 (1080) people were killed;
- tanks – 6487 (11) units;
- armoured combat vehicles – 12,198 (53) units;
- artillery systems – 9,709 (40) units;
- MLRS – 984 units;
- air defence systems – 674 (3) units;
- aircraft – 335 (3) units;
- helicopters – 325 units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level – 7449 (36) units;
- cruise missiles – 1898 (2) units;
- ships/boats – 25 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tankers – 12,736 (2) units;
- special equipment – 1,540 (7) units.

The commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleshchuk, reported on Telegram that Ukrainian defenders had “landed” another Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber. It happened this morning.
“The Muscovites have another ‘loss’. Today at about 6:00 another Su-34 ‘successfully returned’ to the base,”
– the commander wrote.
The Air Force clarified that this happened on the eastern frontline.
Ukrainian troops also destroyed 12 Shahed attack drones and an X-59 guided missile.
Situation at the frontline
In Ukraine, 82 combat engagements took place in the frontline over the last day. Defence forces continue to hold their positions in the Kherson sector.
