AFU hit a fuel depot in Belgorod region: first details

Ukrainian defense forces hit a warehouse of fuel and lubricants of the enemy in Belgorod region. This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the AFU, informs Komersant ukrainskyi

“On the night of November 12, units of the Unmanned Systems Force and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, inflicted a fire attack on the fuel and lubricants warehouse “Oskolneftesnab”, which is near the city of Stary Oskol in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation”, – stated in the message.

The results of the combat work are being specified.

According to preliminary information, there was a fire on the territory of the facility.

“The defeat of such facilities creates serious logistical problems for the army of the Russian occupiers and significantly reduces their offensive potential,” – noted in the General Staff.

Earlier, the governor of Russia’s Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that a Ukrainian drone attacked an oil depot near the town of Stary Oskol, with one of the tanks bursting into flames as a result of the explosion.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said Russian air defense forces shot down 13 Ukrainian drones on Tuesday night, nine of them in the Belgorod region and two each in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. Authorities in the Bryansk region said there was no damage or casualties.
