Convenient connection for Ukrainians: airBaltic launches Rzeszow-Riga flight

Starting 8 November 2024, Latvia’s national airline airBaltic will launch a new direct route connecting the Polish city of Rzeszów (Rzeszów) with the company’s main hub in Riga, Latvia. This was announced by airBaltic, Komersant UkrainianKomersant Ukrainian reports

The new route will provide convenient connections from Riga to key European cities, which is especially beneficial for Ukrainian passengers travelling via Poland to the Baltic States and beyond.

“The new route will offer convenient onward connections from Riga to key European destinations, making it an ideal travel solution, especially for Ukrainian passengers travelling via Poland to the Baltic States and beyond,” the statement said.

The new route will offer convenient connections from Riga to Vilnius, Tallinn, Oslo, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Stockholm and other popular destinations.

In addition to flights to Rzeszow, airBaltic has also announced flights to Cluj-Napoca, Stavanger, Mykonos, Barcelona, Palma, Reykjavik, Tirana, Tel Aviv, Prague, Rhodes, Ibiza, Valencia, and Chisinau.

Today, airBaltic operates more than 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere, and seasonally from Gran Canaria, offering connections to various destinations in the company’s network in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Caucasus region.

Travellers can book one-way flights from Riga on this new route from €34 in economy class.
