Tomorrow, 22 August, a charity match between showbiz stars and media leaders will take place at the Bannikov Stadium in Kyiv to mark Ukraine’s Independence Day, reports Komersant ukrainskyi, the media partner of the event.
On 22 August, Ukrainian showbiz stars from the Maestro football team and influencers from the IGNIS football club of media personalities will host a charity football show at the central stadium of the Ukrainian Football Association in honour of Ukraine’s Independence Day and our irresistible warriors.
This festive event will consist of a football match between FC Maestro and IGNIS and a number of socially important charity events.
The stadium will be attended by pop stars, Ukrainian football stars, the most influential bloggers, TV presenters, journalists, and media industry professionals.
Pupils of children’s football schools, the future of Ukrainian football, have been invited to the match to support their adult colleagues, act as stewards and ballboys, and play a short match with each other during the break.
All funds raised will be used to support specific military units that continue to defend the country from the aggressor. The charity match is not only a sporting event, but also a powerful symbol of Ukraine’s unity in times of war.

FC Maestro is the largest creative association of Ukrainian pop, film and theatre artists. For 15 years, the football club of stars has launched and implemented many socially significant projects. Charity events organised by FC Maestro often reach international levels and reach millions of people.
