On December 7, French President Emmanuel Macron will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He is also scheduled to meet with US President-elect Donald Trump. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to France 24.

As part of the event, Macron will meet with Trump for bilateral talks, followed by a separate meeting with Zelenskyy.

However, it is not yet known whether a joint meeting of the three leaders is planned, and there is no official confirmation of talks between Zelenskyy and Trump.

Ukrainian sources told AFP that there have been attempts to organize a meeting between Trump and Zelenskyy in Paris.

“The President of Ukraine will attend the celebrations on the occasion of the restoration of Notre Dame Cathedral and will meet with President Emmanuel Macron,” a Ukrainian government source said, adding that “other meetings are possible, including with US President-elect Donald Trump.”

Trump and Zelenskiy are on a VIP guest list of about 40 world leaders. The restored Notre Dame has become not only a symbol of cultural heritage, but also a venue for important diplomatic meetings.

Trump, who said during his election campaign that he could reach a peace agreement in Ukraine “in one day,” has attracted the attention of many politicians. He promised to make efforts to end the war, given the key role of the United States in providing Ukraine with weapons.
