Zelensky appointed heads of Transcarpathian and Volyn regional administrations: what is known about them
9 November 01:27President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed the heads of Volyn and Zakarpattia regional military administrations. The relevant decrees are published on the website of the Presidential Office, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
According to the President’s decrees, Myroslav Biletsky became the new head of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration,
ivan Rudnytsky is the new head of the Volyn Regional State Administration.
The president also signed decrees dismissing Yuriy Pohulyayko as head of the Volyn Regional Military District and relieving Myroslav Biletsky of his temporary duties as head of the Zakarpattia Regional Military District.
What is known about Ivan Rudnytskyi?
Ivan Rudnytskyi was born in January 1978 in Drohobych, Lviv Oblast.
From 2014 to 2015, he was the deputy head of the SBU Office in Zakarpattia region. He headed the Main Department for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime.
From 2015 to 2018, he held a similar position in the SBU Office in Lviv region.
In 2019, he became the Head of the SBU Office in Zakarpattia region.
Since July 2022, he was the Head of the SBU Office in Poltava region.
Since May 2024, he was the head of the SBU Office in Volyn region.
What is known about Myroslav Biletskyi
Myroslav Biletskyi was born in 1976 in the village of Rokosovo, Khust district, Zakarpattia region. He graduated from Lviv Polytechnic with a degree in Business Economics.
In 2019, he ran in the parliamentary elections as a candidate of the Ukrainian Strategy of Groysman party.
in 2020, he was elected to the Transcarpathian Regional Council as a member of the Ridne Zakarpattia party.
Biletskyi has been the acting head of the Zakarpattia Regional Military District Administration since September 2024. Since February 2021, he has served as the first deputy head of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration.
