Zelensky extends mobilization and martial law in Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed laws extending martial law and mobilization. They will be in effect at least until August 6, 2025. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the cards of bills No. 13172 and No. 13173.
The President signed both documents on Friday, April 18.
“Returned with the signature of the President of Ukraine,” the law cards say.
According to the bills, martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine were extended from May 9, 2025, for 90 days, i.e. until August 6.
This is the 15th extension of martial law and general mobilization.
The last time martial law and general mobilization were extended by the Parliament was on January 15 this year. on February 5, the President signed two laws extending martial law and general mobilization until May 9.
