President Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured that there would be no freezing of the war with Russia. Otherwise, during the ceasefire, the occupiers will prepare and attack Ukraine again with renewed vigour, as they did before the full-scale invasion. “Today, many people are talking about a ceasefire. I went through several ceasefires with Putin,” Zelensky said.
He recalled that some time after the ceasefire was agreed with Putin, Russian troops “started killing us on the contact line”.
“I called him back and said: “We had an agreement”. He said: “Yes, we’ll fix it now”. Then some time passed and they continued to kill us. They were getting ready. Therefore, there will be no frozen conflict,” the president stressed.
Zelenskyy also regretted that Ukraine would not be able to attack the Kremlin if its allies allowed Western weapons to strike deep into Russia. This will not be possible due to the range of the missiles transferred.
