Zelensky signed a law on voluntary return from the NW Ukraine: what it changes
28 November 21:05President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a law on voluntary return to service after being in combat or deserting. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to the document, during martial law, military personnel who first arbitrarily left military units or places of service or deserted and voluntarily arrived at the place of service and expressed their readiness to continue military service, military service and the contract are extended.
Salary payments, benefits and social guarantees, as well as all other types of support are resumed for such servicemen.
At the same time, the implementation of the law will not lead to the release of military personnel from criminal liability.
This refers to the draft law No. 12095, which was adopted by the Parliament as a whole on November 21. “253 MPs voted in favor.
