President Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a meeting of the Commander-in-Chief’s Staff and heard a report on the situation at the front. Other important issues were the manning of brigades and the purchase of weapons. The president said this during his evening address, according to Komersant ukrainskyi
“I held a meeting today. Several key issues. The first is the manning of brigades. The second is weapons and equipment for our soldiers, procurement and supply. Today, we also discussed with Defence Minister Umerov the implementation of contracts and how the institutions within the Ministry of Defence work. All real reform steps must be fully implemented,” the President said.
The President also had a detailed and very long conversation with Chief of Defence Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Bargylevych. Their conversation lasted more than two and a half hours.

“The situation is very difficult. The most important thing is to put pressure on Russia by all means, with all tools, to achieve our goal of a real and just peace for Ukraine and all our people as soon as possible. Everything we can do this autumn, everything we can achieve, we must achieve. And it depends on everyone in the Ukrainian team. Now we need to work as hard as we can before Ramstein,” Zelenskyy added.
Earlier it was reported that US President Joe Biden is seeking to strengthen Ukraine at the end of his term in office. He allegedly instructed all his subordinates to “move heaven and earth” so that Ukraine receives all the help it needs from the United States.
