The Ministry of Veterans Affairs has launched an e-Card project for the employment of female and male war veterans in the civil service. The service is already available on the e-Veteran platform. This is reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Veterans.
It is noted that the e-Vacancy Map visualises information about vacancies in state bodies, local governments and military administrations throughout Ukraine.
According to the ministry, the project is being introduced to make it easier for veterans to find a job and facilitate their employment in the civil service.
“Users can choose vacancies in different regions of the country, as well as get detailed information about functional responsibilities, requirements for candidates, salary levels, and contacts for feedback by going to the ‘Table’ tab,” the Ministry of Veterans emphasises.
It adds that more than 17% of the department’s staff are veterans, members of their families and families of the deceased, active servicemen, and former prisoners of war.
At the time of launch, 170 vacancies were posted on the e-Karta, 92 of which were for civil service, 37 for local government, and 41 for military administrations. New vacancies are posted on the web platform every day.
It should be noted that there are already many digital services in Ukraine for veterans of the ATO/JFO and the Russian-Ukrainian war that make life much easier.
