Judicial remuneration in Ukraine
The minimum salary of a local court judge in Ukraine is 30 subsistence minimums, which in 2024 is equal to UAH 87,600. This is always supplemented by allowances, bonuses, coefficients for length of service, etc. Judges of higher courts receive more. In practice, the average salary of judges in Ukraine exceeds UAH 100,000. For example, the average remuneration of a judge of the Constitutional Court is UAH 254 thousand per month.
Upon retirement, Ukrainian judges receive a lifetime pension equal to half of what they received in office. After 20 years of service, the amount of the lifetime allowance increases by 2% for each additional year.
