On the evening of December 6, Russian occupation forces attacked Zaporizhzhia, killing and injuring people. This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov, Komersant ukrainskyi reports

As you know, on the evening of Friday, December 6, the Russians struck twice in Zaporizhzhia and Zaporizhzhia district.

The strikes were carried out between 17:57 and 18:05. The first strike was on a residential area of the regional center. The second strike hit an open area of Zaporizhzhia district.

Fedorov later confirmed that the invaders had struck the city: three people were killed and four wounded, including children. A service station is on fire at the site of the hit, and some communities have power outages.

Houses and shops nearby were damaged.

Nine people were killed and 19 others were injured, including two children aged four and eleven. Witnesses saw people burning in their cars.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the Russian attack on Ukraine, noting that the bombs and missiles launched by Russia speak very eloquently for the actions of Russia.

“On the evening of St. Nicholas Day, the bombs hit Zaporizhzhia – just service stations, cars with people. As of now, we know about four wounded, all of them are being helped. Nine people are on the list of dead,” the President noted.

The Head of State reminded that during the full-scale invasion, Russia had launched thousands of such strikes. These strikes clearly show that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin does not need real peace.

“He only needs the ability to do this to any country – bombs, missiles, all other violence. Only by force can this be resisted. And only through force can real peace be established,” Zelensky emphasized.
