Eurovision Song Contest 2025: it became known in which semi-final and with whom exactly the representative of Ukraine will compete

The day before, the Swiss city of Basel hosted a ceremony of handing over the symbolic keys to the host city of this year’s contest and drawing the participants of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 semifinals. This is reported on the website of the Public Broadcaster, Komersant ukrainskyi informs.
The Mayor of Malmö, Katrin Sternfeldt Jämme, handed over the symbolic keys to the President of the Basel Government Council, Konradin Kramer, as a sign of the official transfer of authority to the new host city of the Song Contest.

According to the results of the draw, Ukraine’s representative will perform in the first part of the first semi-final. on May 13, they will compete with the representative of Ukraine for the right to go to the grand final of the contest:

In the second semi-final, on May 15, participants from the following countries will sing:

the 69th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in the Swiss city of Basel. The semi-finals will take place on May 13 and 15, 2025. The Eurovision Grand Final will take place on Saturday, May 17. The contest will be attended by 38 countries, 32 of which will compete in the semifinals. The 20 semi-final winners will be joined by representatives of the Big Five countries in the grand final: Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, as well as last year’s winner Switzerland.
UA:PBC also reminded that the winner of the National Selection and, accordingly, the representative of Ukraine at Eurovision 2025 will be determined by the results of the jury and the audience during the final concert on February 8. The broadcast of the National Selection starts at 18:30.
According to the results of the voting in the Diia app, the jury of the National Selection 2025 includes Jamala, the singer and winner of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest; Serhiy Tanchynets, musician, producer, and leader of the rock band Bez Obmezhen (No Limits); and Kateryna Pavlenko, frontwoman of Go_A.

The jury and the audience will evaluate ten performers and their songs. They are:
