“Eurovision Song Contest 2025: it became known who will read out the scores from Ukraine

Singer Jerry Heil will be Ukraine’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. In the final of the contest, on May 17, the artist will announce the scores of the national jury of Ukraine, which will be broadcast by Suspilne Kultura. The singer announced this on her Instagram page, "Komersant Ukrainian" reports
“Jerry Heil will be the spokesperson for Ukraine at Eurovision 2025! The singer, songwriter, Eurovision 2024 participant and member of the GRAMMY Academy will announce the scores of the National Jury of Ukraine on May 17 during the grand final in Basel,” the statement reads.
“Eurovision is a family. When you become a part of it, your connection is forever. It is a safe place where you can be yourself and the music of your soul can be heard. Last year, we said how we dreamed of Ukrainian music being heard around the world not from competition to competition, but all the time – and what a joy to see it happening now!” Jerry Heil said in a comment to the broadcaster.
This will be the first time Jerry Heil will perform in this role after participating in the competition. In 2024, the singer in a duet with Alyona Alyona took third place at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden, with the song Teresa & Maria.
What is known about Eurovision 2025
The contest will involve 38 countries, 32 of which will compete in the semifinals.
In the grand final, the 20 semi-final winners will be joined by representatives of the Big Five countries: Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, as well as last year’s winner Switzerland.
