Euro appreciates: official exchange rate as of January 15

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rate for today, January 15. The euro continues to show growth. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the NBU.

Compared to the previous day, January 14, the value of the US dollar has not changed – it still costs 42.27 hryvnia.

However, the euro has risen by 19 kopecks. Its official exchange rate today is 43.32 hryvnia.

The Polish zloty has become more expensive by five kopecks. Its official exchange rate today is 10.14 hryvnia.

On the interbank foreign exchange market of Ukraine, by 16:00, the hryvnia to the dollar was at 42.27/42.30 UAH/USD, and the euro at 43.42/43.44 UAH/€.

Currency market trends

Experts note that the Ukrainian foreign exchange market is influenced by both internal and external factors, in particular, the dynamics of world energy prices, export and import volumes, as well as the geopolitical situation.

Analysts predict that in the short term, the hryvnia exchange rate will remain relatively stable, but slight fluctuations are possible due to seasonal factors and changes in international markets.
