The heat in Ukraine will increase and reach its peak on 24 August, the main national holiday. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi
reports citing data from the monitoring service Windy.
According to the forecasts of this monitoring service, the 30-degree heat wave will remain in Ukraine until the end of the month. And on Independence Day, 24 August, the temperature will reach 35 degrees.
In turn, the Ukrainian Weather Service forecasts air temperature in the range of 29… 33 degrees.
On Saturday, 24 August, the night temperature will be between 17… 15 degrees, and during the day the thermometer will show 29… 31 degrees. The wind will be northeast with gusts of 3-8 metres per second.
On this day, Kyiv will have partly cloudy weather, without precipitation. The air temperature at night will be 14… 12 degrees, and during the day it will rise to 29… 31 degrees.
Forecasters also warn of a high level of fire danger, which will also persist until the end of this week.
On 24 August, an extreme level of fire danger will be observed almost throughout Ukraine, except for Volyn and Zakarpattia regions.
