Former MP Boryslav Bereza is wanted by the National Police as a fugitive: he fled Ukraine. Such reports appeared in several telegrams with a million subscribers, citing the weekly Law and Business newspaper. In an exclusive commentary [Kommersant] the former MP said that he had not fled anywhere. And he called the publications about him paid-for.
Law and Business claims that the National Police has received documents to search for former MP Boryslav Bereza because of his evasion from service. In March, he allegedly left Ukraine by crossing the border with Moldova on foot. He has not returned since. However, Boryslav Bereza assures us that he is in Ukraine and is ready to come to any National Police station.
“I am at home, but I have another question: if I am officially discharged, then why am I a fugitive? If I am a fugitive, I am ready to come to any police station if they are looking for me.
And if they are not looking for me, then I ask: did I hurt the Presidential Office so badly that they are so hurt?” – Boryslav Bereza
The former MP is sure that someone from the Presidential Office pays a lot of money to millionaire channels for outright lies.
“It would be better to spend this money on FPV drones, cars and night sights. Unlike the four-time draft dodger, I served,” Boryslav Bereza
In September 2022, soldier Bereza thanked his fellow soldiers with whom he had fought and explained why he was leaving the Armed Forces. According to Bereza, he was written off. He says the main thing now is to save his eyesight. His left eye sees 20 per cent, and his right eye sees less than 20 per cent, the former MP explained.
