Exposing schemes for evaders: police conducted over 600 searches

The National Police of Ukraine has launched a large-scale special operation to expose illegal channels for the trafficking of men liable for military service abroad. So far, more than 600 searches have been conducted across the country. Law enforcement officials reported this on their Facebook page, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.

“More than 600 simultaneous searches are being conducted by DNR operatives and National Police investigators, and this is only the first stage of a special operation to block the channels of exporting men of military age abroad,” the statement reads.

Law enforcement officers are exposing the organizers and members of groups that help men cross the border bypassing official checkpoints. According to the available data, the criminals facilitated the crossing of hundreds of people liable for military service via these routes.

The operation is ongoing in all regions of Ukraine.

The law enforcement will provide details of the special operation after the completion of all investigative actions.
