The State Tax Service of Ukraine has discovered a chain of stores that issued fake fiscal checks to customers. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the press service of the State Tax Service.
The inspections revealed business entities that used registered software registrars of payment transactions. When selling goods in cash, buyers were issued simulated fiscal checks, which was explained by special software that did not comply with the law and bypassed the system of recording data from payment transaction recorders of the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
This led to a distortion of the actual volume of payments and underestimation of the income of these organizations. In addition, the use of hired employees without proper formalization of labor relations was detected.
As a result of the inspections, significant financial sanctions are expected to be imposed on business entities. The information about the identified network will be transferred to law enforcement agencies for legal assessment and appropriate measures.
Customers are advised to use the fiscal receipt search on the web portal of the State Tax Service of Ukraine to verify its authenticity and to stop the illegal activities of individual merchants.
