Residents of Pokrovsk and the community are being urged to evacuate due to the approach of Russian occupation forces. This was emphasised by the head of the Pokrovsk city military administration, Serhiy Dobriak, Komersant ukrainskyi reports
Dobriak said that the Russians are almost close to the community and the city and are more than 10 kilometres from the outskirts.
“We see that all the shelling that took place in our community, in the city, the enemy cynically hits either critical infrastructure or private buildings, or residential buildings, people are dying. Therefore, I ask you to evacuate without delay, especially families with children, especially the elderly,” Dobryak said in his address.
He stressed that “the situation is only getting worse, it will not get better” and added that “the authorities and critical infrastructure remain in the city.”

Anyone who wants to evacuate is asked to call the following numbers:
- evacuation and humanitarian assistance hotline: 0-800-408-911;
- contact centre of Pokrovska MVA: 0800300101;
- volunteers of the charity organisation “Vostok SOS”: evacuation with children, seriously ill and disabled people with accommodation, pets: 0800332614 from Monday to Saturday from 08.00 to 18.00;
- volunteers of the NGO “Proliska” to accompany seriously ill patients with medical staff: 0932022232 and 0964041034.
As of the end of June, about 60,000 people remained in Pokrovsk.
It should be noted that the Pokrovsk sector remains one of the hottest spots on the frontline. The highest number of hostilities has been recorded there over the past month.
