Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk has decided to resign. She submitted a corresponding statement to the Verkhovna Rada. This was announced by Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk on Facebook, according to
Stefanchuk noted that Vereshchuk’s application had already been received by the Verkhovna Rada. It will be considered at one of the next plenary sessions.
“Reboot. After almost three years in the Government, today I submitted my resignation. I thank the President for his trust! I thank the Prime Minister and members of the Government for their cooperation! I thank the MPs for their support! I thank the team of the Ministry of Reintegration for their work and dedication!” she wrote.
As a reminder, the Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn, Minister of Justice Denys Maliuska, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Ruslan Strilets, and Head of the State Property Fund Vitaliy Koval have all resigned.
