Power outage on November 27: “Ukrenergo has updated its schedules

27 November 00:30

Power companies have updated their blackout schedules for Wednesday, November 27. Restrictions have been eased for household consumers. This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.

Thus, the restrictions will apply to household consumers, industry and business.

When there will be no electricity on November 27:

  • 8:00 – 19:00 – one round of outages (up to 4 hours of blackouts per day for each group in the schedule) for household consumers.
  • 7:00 – 20:00 – application of power limitation schedules for industry and business.

You can view the power outage schedules for your region on the websites of regional power distribution companies and DTEK.

It is noted that the reason for the temporary restrictions is the damage to power facilities during a massive missile and drone attack on the power system on November 17.

Power engineers are working to restore the equipment damaged by the enemy as soon as possible

As a reminder, consumers in each region that are not included in the list of critical infrastructure facilities are divided into 6 queues (groups). Restrictions on three queues mean that half of the consumers in each region are subject to hourly outage schedules. Four queues mean restrictions for up to 70% of consumers in each region.

When oblenergos apply one stage of outage schedules, it means 4 hours of restrictions per day, two stages – 8 hours of restrictions, three stages – 12 hours of restrictions, four stages – more than 12 hours of restrictions.

How to distribute this load during the day and how long the queue will be is the responsibility of the regional power distribution company.
