The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has officially codified and approved for use in the Armed Forces a new universal unmanned multipurpose forward-looking transporter BoarTAC, which is domestically produced. The Ministry of Defence claims that this innovative vehicle was developed taking into account the combat experience of Ukrainian defenders and is designed to perform a wide range of tasks on the front line, reports Komersant ukrainskyi
The BoarTAC is characterised by its low silhouette, low noise and low visibility, making it ideal for operations in the combat zone. The transporter is protected from bullets and debris, which increases its survivability on the battlefield. The developers also paid special attention to ease of operation and field serviceability, which is critical for frontline equipment.
The new unmanned vehicle is distinguished by its high cross-country ability and traction. Thanks to its wide tracks with large tracks and protective bumper, BoarTAC is able to overcome off-road terrain, ditches and shallow water obstacles, making it indispensable in difficult conditions.

The ministry emphasises the BoarToC’s versatility: it can be used to deliver ammunition and provisions, evacuate the wounded, clear the area of mines or, conversely, set up minefields. In addition, the vehicle can be transformed into a mobile firepower vehicle by integrating remotely controlled combat modules equipped with grenade launchers and machine guns. In extreme cases, the BoarTAC can be used as a kamikaze drone.
The transporter has a carrying capacity of about 200 kg, and it is also capable of pulling a trailer of the same weight. This allows for a significant increase in the logistical capabilities of units on the front line.
