Bodies of 909 fallen soldiers returned to Ukraine

Ukraine has held another event to repatriate the bodies of soldiers killed in the war. The remains of 909 defenders were returned home.
This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
Among those who were returned are soldiers killed in:
- Kurakhivske;
- Pokrovske; Pokrovske;
- Bakhmut;
- vuhledarsky;
- Luhansk;
- Zaporizhzhya directions;
- those who were repatriated from morgues in Russia.
Law enforcement investigators, together with experts from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, are to identify the victims as soon as possible.
The Coordination Center for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported that 75 repatriation events were held during the full-scale war, during which 7,017 bodies of fallen soldiers were returned to Ukraine.
The last time the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers were returned was on February 14, when 757 dead Ukrainian soldiers who fought on different front lines were returned.
