42 new professions appeared in Ukraine: list

Ukraine has 42 new professions, including those in the IT, healthcare, social and financial sectors. This was reported by with reference to the Ministry of Economy.
Most of the changes are in the IT sector, where 29 new professions will appear. There are also new professions in the healthcare and financial sectors.
At the suggestion of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the classifier of professions has been supplemented with 29 new professional titles for IT jobs, including:
- Web resource administrator;
- Mobile application analyst;
- Artificial intelligence engineer;
- Artificial intelligence developer;
- Software architecture developer (information technology);
- Cloud architecture developer;
- Electronic communications security specialist, etc.
9 professional job titles in the IT sector were brought in line with modern technologies, in particular, “Computer Data Bank Analyst” was changed to “Data Analyst”, “Operational and Application Software Analyst” to “Software Analyst”, “Computer Software Engineer” to “Software Engineer”, etc.
At the same time, 9 outdated occupational titles were removed from the Classifier of Occupations, such as “Application Programmer”, “System Programmer”, “Computer Application Engineer”, “Software and Multimedia Analyst”.
In addition, a number of proposals were made to the Classifier of Occupations, which have become urgently needed recently, in particular:
- “Prosthetist-orthoticist”,
- “Operator of the 112 Service” (providing emergency assistance to the public via a single telephone number on a “one-stop shop” basis),
- “Duty Officer of the Operational Rescue Service of Civil Protection”,
- “Spatial orientation and mobility instructor”,
- “Specialist in demining”,
- “Auditor by type of activity”,
- “Financial analyst,
- “Operator of shot blasting machines”,
- “Master of installation, maintenance, repair and adjustment of heat pumps”.
The classifier of professions currently includes 9,172 professional job titles. The professional job titles contained in the classifier are systematised into professional groups, depending on the nature and complexity of the work performed, qualifications, according to the International Standard Classification of Occupations hierarchy.
