Today, 1 October, rains are expected in the western regions of Ukraine, while in the rest of the country there will be partly cloudy weather without precipitation. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi
with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Service .
The Ukrhydrometeorological Centre reported that cloudy weather with clearing and rain is expected in the western regions, as well as in Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Odesa, Kherson regions and Crimea. In the rest of the country, there will be partly cloudy weather without precipitation.
Wind will be north-west, east on the Left Bank, 7-12 m/s, in the eastern, Zaporizhzhya and Odesa regions, in some places gusts of 15-20 m/s.
The air temperature in the western, Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions will be 3…8°C at night, 8…13°C during the day. In the rest of the country, the temperature will be 9…14°C at night, and in the south it will rise to 17°C.
During the day, the temperature will be 17…22°C, and in the eastern regions it will reach 25°C.
Rain and sleet are expected in the highlands of the Carpathians. At night, the temperature will range from 3°C to -2°C, while during the day, forecasters predict 4°C to 9°C.
According to the latest satellite data, the dust that entered Ukraine this morning is spreading to Kyiv, Zhytomyr and northern Vinnytsia regions, worsening air quality from the east, while there is a noticeable smell of smoke coming from the north.
