13 June 21:59
In light of recent events, Israel is suspending the work of its diplomatic missions both around the world and in Ukraine. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to a message from June 13 on the website of the Israeli Embassy in Kyiv.
“In light of recent events, Israeli missions around the world will be closed and consular services will not be provided,” the statement reads.
For citizens of the country abroad, an online form will be available to report their whereabouts and tell about the problems they have encountered.
In addition, for Israelis, the Embassy has published rules of conduct in other countries. Among them:
- avoid demonstrations of Jewish or Israeli symbols in public places;
- refrain from publishing information about one’s whereabouts or travel plans on social media that can be used to identify one’s identity
- avoid attending large gatherings or events related to Israel or Jewish communities;
- cooperate with local security forces and immediately follow their instructions if hostile activity is detected;
- be especially vigilant in public places;
- in case of emergency, contact the representative office in the country of residence using emergency numbers.
