Ukrainian to appear in UFC again

Another Ukrainian fighter will try to conquer the world’s most prestigious MMA competitions. On 20 January, Chernihiv native Sergiy Sidey will make his UFC debut in a fight with American Ramon Taveras.
Sidney is a Canadian of Ukrainian descent and has previously represented Canada in the professional ring (he has fought 11 fights, winning 10 and losing one). However, he will represent Ukraine in the UFC.
The Ukrainian will make his debut on the UFC 297 undercard in Toronto on the night of Sunday, 21 January, starting at approximately three o’clock in the morning Kyiv time. Ramon Taveras will try to take revenge for his previous defeat to Sergiy during the qualifying tournament for the competition.
The Ukrainian is the favourite of the match. Bets on him are accepted at odds of 1.55, while bookmakers give Taveras’ victory at 2.55.
