The mayor noted that the hit was recorded in the Kholodnogorsky district of Kharkiv.
“A KAB strike on Kharkiv. We have preliminary information about a hit in the Kholodnogorsk district. Information about the victims and damage is being clarified,” he wrote.
Later, the mayor of Kharkiv clarified that a garage co-operative in the city was damaged by the shelling.
“Fortunately, no one was injured,” he wrote on Telegram.
An air raid alert was announced in Kharkiv at 4.36 am.
“Attention! Enemy tactical aviation activity in the northeast. There is a threat of aviation munitions being used in the frontline areas!” the Ukrainian Air Force warned at 4.54am.
At night, explosions were heard in Kyiv. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that in the Obolon district of the capital, the wreckage of a UAV fell on the territory of a utility company.
