All mobile operators raise tariffs: details
31 January 21:50
Ukraine is experiencing a significant increase in tariffs for mobile services. All three market operators have announced price increases, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
According to the companies, the price increase is due to several factors: rising electricity costs, the general economic situation and the need to modernize the network infrastructure.
The price increase ranges from 25% to 70%, depending on the operator and the tariff plan chosen.
Kyivstar was the first to start raising tariffs in December 2024. Their tariff plans have increased by an average of 25%, which in monetary terms is approximately UAH 65 on top of the previous cost. To mitigate the impact of the price increase, the company is offering customers the opportunity to lock in the current price of certain tariffs by paying for services a year in advance.
Vodafone introduced the new tariffs on January 30, 2025. The increase ranges from UAH 40 to 70. The operator has also increased the amount of mobile internet in some tariff plans.

lifecell plans to change the terms and conditions of some tariff plans from February 5, 2025. The average increase will be 34%. The company also offers its customers a 15% discount when paying for services for the whole year in advance.
