On Friday, 23 August, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Mykhailo Titarchuk from the post of Deputy Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the Telegram channel telegram channel of MP Oleksiy Honcharenko.
“Today, the Cabinet of Ministers has decided to dismiss Mykhailo Titarchuk from the post of Deputy Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine,” the statement reads.
Previously, Mr Titarchuk worked for international companies in the logistics and aviation sectors. In 2004-2007, he worked at a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Defence.
In 2015-16, he worked as the head of the district state administration of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
In Groysman’s government, he served as a deputy minister in the Cabinet of Ministers of Oleksandr Sayenko in 2016, after which he moved to the Ministry of Economic Development as deputy minister. Titarchuk worked there for three years until September 2019.
He has worked as Deputy Head of the State Tax Service since January 2020. And in April 2020, he acted as the head of the tax authority.
on 25 November 2021, Titarchuk was appointed acting head of the State Tax Service.
