The Ministry of Return of Ukrainians will be established in Ukraine. The functions of the new agency, as well as candidates for the post of head of the ministry, were discussed at a meeting of the Servant of the People faction. This was announced by the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arakhamia, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
“We discussed the creation of a new institution in the government with the working title of the Ministry of Return of Ukrainians. We are discussing candidates who could head it,” Arakhamia said.
He also said that the meeting was attended by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Arakhamia confirmed that the meeting was focused on the “reset” of the government.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine would launch an institute to ensure the unity of Ukrainians abroad and counter Russian propaganda.
Earlier, the head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction , David Arakhamia, announced a major reset of the Cabinet of Ministers this week.
It should be noted that at a meeting on 4 September, members of the Verkhovna Rada applauded the resignation of Justice Minister Denis Malyuska.
According to the source of Kommersant Ukrayinsky, the dismissed Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna may take over the Ministry of Justice instead of Denys Malyuska.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn.
