After auditing companies, the government updates booking criteria and introduces a new booking procedure starting December 1
15 November 13:27By November 15, as promised, an audit of enterprises and organizations that have the status of critical and have the right to book employees was conducted, and today the Government is updating the booking criteria and criteria for obtaining criticality. This was announced at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.
According to him, the update of the reservation criteria and criteria for obtaining criticality concerns compliance with the principle of fairness.
As for the audit, the Prime Minister noted that a number of problematic issues were identified that need to be addressed.
“First of all, the regional and sectoral criteria for the criticality of enterprises will now be agreed with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Economy. Secondly, for the private sector, the salary criterion and the absence of debts to the budget are now mandatory points for booking their employees. In particular, the accrued average salary of the company and the booked employee must be at least 2.5 minimum wages. This will reduce the risk of abuse when companies hire people for the sake of a “shadow” booking arrangement,” said Denys Shmyhal.
He also said that all bookings from December 1 will be made through Diia.
Monthly monitoring of enterprises and organizations will also be carried out to ensure that they meet all the criteria. Responsible ministries have been instructed to explain in detail all aspects and logic of the updated system.
“The new procedure will be effective from December 1. At the same time, all those who already have deferrals will have a transition period to the new conditions until February 28. By this date – February 28 – all companies must renew their employees’ reservations in accordance with the new conditions, regardless of how and when the reservation was made,” the Prime Minister explained.
