The Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada plan to increase salaries of NACP employees in 2025, reports Komersant ukrainskyi

Thus, the new version of the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2025, prepared by the Cabinet of Ministers for the second reading and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, provides for an increase in expenditures on salaries of employees of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) in the amount of UAH 143.67 million.

Earlier, during the discussion of budget proposals to this draft law, MPs supported the initiative to increase the salaries of NAPC employees. Accordingly, the Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to consider this issue, and as a result, the proposal was taken into account in the draft for the second reading. In the financial allocation of this amount, UAH 143.67 million is allocated to increase salaries for the agency’s employees.

According to the Ministry of Finance, in September 2024, the average salary of the NACP’s heads was UAH 254.2 thousand, heads of structural units – UAH 85.3 thousand, and ordinary specialists – UAH 49.2 thousand.

It is also worth recalling that starting from 2021, a “frozen” subsistence minimum of UAH 2102 is applied to calculate the salaries of employees of state bodies whose remuneration is regulated by special laws, as well as for tax and customs officials and judges. For prosecutors, this figure is UAH 1600. However, anti-corruption agencies, including the NAPC, are not subject to these restrictions, so their salaries are calculated based on the current subsistence minimum, which will be UAH 3028 starting January 1, 2025.
