The State Protection Department has bought four premium Land Cruiser SUVs for UAH 3.93 million each. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi
with reference to information in the Prozorro system.
The only participant in the open bidding, ViDi Avtostrada LLC, is to supply the goods. The total value of the contract was UAH 15.73 million.
The final contract was signed on 18 September. It was signed by Oleksiy Morozov, head of the State Protection Department, and Denys Kuleshov, director of ViDi Avtostrada.
As notes the Nashi Hroshi publication notes, UAH 3.93 million for the Toyota Land Cruiser is a record price for any passenger car in this year’s ProZorro procurement. Previously, the record also belonged to the State Protection Department, which ordered three luxury Lexus SUVs for UAH 3.27 million from ViDi Elite LLC in August.
What is known about the Toyota Land Cruiser
It is known that the agency purchased 4 SUVs made in 2024. The vehicles are equipped with a 3.3-litre diesel engine that provides more than 300 hp and meets the Euro 5 environmental standard. The maximum speed of Toyota Land Cruiser is 210 km/h, and the acceleration time to 100 km/h is 6.9 seconds. To ensure the comfort of the driver and passengers, the vehicle is equipped with a heated steering wheel and seats, sound-absorbing front door glass, interior ionisation and a heated windscreen. Active and passive safety systems such as 360-degree visibility, stabilisation, tyre pressure monitoring, collision warning and parking sensors are built in to ensure passenger safety. Optional equipment includes metal engine protection, a radiator grille, winter tyres, tinted windows (except for the windscreen) and a driver’s travel kit. Specialised equipment includes LED headlights and beacons, as well as a powerful loudspeaker with remote light control.
