on 13 August, the State Protection Department of Ukraine (UDO) signed a contract with ViDi Elite for the supply of three Lexus GX 460 vehicles for a total of UAH 9.81 million. According to information from the Prozorro system, these specialised off-road vehicles must be the latest – not earlier than 2024. This was reported by the Nashi Hroshi publication, according to Komersant ukrainskyi
Each of these vehicles costs UAH 3.27 million and is equipped with a powerful 4.6-litre petrol engine that meets the Euro 5 standard, an automatic transmission and many security systems. In particular, the vehicles have front, side and knee airbags for the driver and front passenger, air curtains for the first and second rows, cruise control, climate control, front and rear parking sensors, a rear view camera, and an electrically operated sunroof.
In addition, the cars are equipped with specialised equipment such as a warning loudspeaker, an LED beacon under the windscreen and 16 LED headlights located under the rear and front windows and in the grille. In addition, there is metal engine protection, a protective grille for the radiator, a driver’s travel kit, rubber mats, winter tyres and tinted windows for all but the windscreen.

For comparison, the base version of the Lexus GX 460 in Luxury trim, which has no additional or specialised equipment, costs about UAH 3.03 million with a discount for a car that is in stock and UAH 3.62 million without a discount.
The publication notes that ViDi Elite, which is part of Vitaliy Dzhurynsky’s ViDi Group, was awarded the contract without competition, as no other offers were received at the open tender.
