Ukrzaliznytsia launches 8 new flights and reduces travel time for 38 trains
22 November 02:14In the new schedule for 2025, Ukrzaliznytsia passengers will receive several important novelties. Starting from December 15, five new trips to the mountains will be added, and three to the indomitable Kharkiv. Travel time will be reduced for 38 trains. This was reported by the press service, Komersant ukrainskyi informs
So, what trains should be expected in December:
- Train #33/34 Kryvyi Rih-Yasinia is a new additional connection that significantly improves transportation between Kryvyi Rih, Lviv, and popular tourist destinations in the Carpathians (Yaremche, Tatariv-Bukovel, Vorokhta, and Yasinia).
- Train No. 61/62 Dnipro-Rakhiv (every other day) – this new connection will significantly increase the supply of seats for passengers traveling from Prydniprovia to Lviv and the Carpathians.
- Train #83/84 Kyiv-Solotvyno (every other day) – optimization of the existing rolling stock will increase the supply of seats for trips from Kyiv to Slavsk and Zakarpattia by 50%.
- Train No. 125/126-129/130 Poltava, Kremenchuk-Uzhhorod (every other day) – a new route that will additionally connect Poltava region with Slavske and Zakarpattia.
- Train No. 145/146 Kharkiv-Chernivtsi (every other day) – a new connection will provide residents of Slobozhanshchyna with an opportunity to get to Bukovyna.
- Train 165/166 Kharkiv-Cherkasy (every other day) – the new service will provide more convenient transportation for residents of Kharkiv, Dnipro,Cherkasy and a number of other stations along the new route.
A new regional train No. 823/824 Kharkiv-Dnipro will expand the existing travel options between the two million-plus cities.
In addition to launching new trains, UZ is improving and developing existing connections:
- Train No. 39/40 Zaporizhzhia – Solotvyno will now depart from Zaporizhzhia at 16:17 (instead of 7:12), which will allow city residents to spend more time traveling at night, freeing up the day for other important tasks.
- Theroute of train No. 85/86 Zaporizhzhia – Lviv has been extended to Rakhiv station, which will expand access to recreational areas of the Carpathians for residents of Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Zhmerynka, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil.
- Theroute of train No. 105/106 (205/206) Odesa – Kyiv may be extended to Kharkiv during peak periods.
- Train No. 113/114 Lviv – Kharkiv will run daily, providing Polissya and Volyn with a daily connection to Sumy and Kharkiv. This service will also be extended to Ivano-Frankivsk during peak periods.
- Train 133/134 Kyiv – Rakhiv will run daily.
Travel time for some trains will also be reduced due to infrastructure repairs. Among them:
- Train No. 13/14 Kyiv – Solotvyno will be accelerated by 1 hr. 9 min;
- Train #55/56 Kyiv – Rakhiv has been accelerated by 57 minutes from Kyiv to Rakhiv;
- Train #45/46 Uzhhorod – Kharkiv accelerated by 51 minutes from Uzhhorod to Kharkiv;
- Train #39/40 Zaporizhzhia – Solotvyno is accelerated by 45 minutes from Zaporizhzhia to Solotvyno, and by 42 minutes from Solotvyno to Zaporizhzhia;
- Train No. 3/4 Zaporizhzhia – Uzhhorod is accelerated by 41 minutes from Uzhhorod to Zaporizhzhia.
