“Ukrzaliznytsia did not add a carriage to the Lviv-Kyiv train that departed from Chernivtsi on October 26. This was reported by Maria Ukrainets, a passenger on the train, on her Instagram page.
According to her, 40 passengers from Lviv did not find their carriage for which they had purchased tickets. As it turned out, the carriage was simply not added.
After the train departed, the passengers were assigned to free seats.
“I’ve never seen anything like this before, it’s something new, at first everything was as usual, the train arrived, everyone got on. And then something went wrong, the train manager came and it turned out that they had forgotten our carriage. A car for 40 people. We were simply forced into the last car to stand in the vestibule and wait for what was not clear. “Well, wait, it’s not our fault, it just happened.” Ukrzaliznytsia, please tell me, is it okay to forget about 40 people? And one carriage from Lviv to Kyiv at night,” Maria Ukrainets described the situation.
In the comments under the video, Ukrainians’ opinions were divided. Passengers described similar situations with tickets and cars. Others thanked the carrier for its hard work at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
Local media reported that the car was missing from the train 008L Kyiv-Chernivtsi, which departed from Chernivtsi on October 26. Passengers had to ride in the vestibule and stand in the corridors of other cars.
At the time of publication, Ukrzaliznytsia had not responded to the situation on the Chernivtsi-Lviv train.
