“Ukrzaliznytsia cancels a number of trains from Odesa for a month: alternative flights

“From December 15 to January 13, Ukrzaliznytsia is adjusting the schedule of some trains for technical reasons. In particular, train No. 8/7 Odesa – Kharkiv, train No. 148/147 Odesa – Kyiv, and train No. 774/773 Kyiv – Shostka will not run during this period. This was reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to Ukrzaliznytsia.
It is noted that the company has already taken care of alternative routes that will allow passengers to comfortably reach their destination.
Alternative flights on the following routes:
- Kyiv – Odesa: trains No. 105/106 and No. 763/764;
- Kharkiv – Odesa: train No. 059/060;
- Kyiv – Shostka: trains No. 786/785 and No. 788/787.
According to UZ, residents of Poltava traveling to Odesa should first get to Kyiv by Intercity train #723 Kharkiv-Kyiv or by trains #15 Kharkiv-Yasinia, #17 Kharkiv-Uzhhorod, #711 Kramatorsk-Kyiv, or #129 Poltava-Uzhhorod. Then from Kyiv to Odesa by train #105 Kyiv – Odesa.
Return: train #106 Odesa – Kyiv, and then transfer to the Intercity train #724 Kyiv – Kharkiv.
For residents of Kremenchuk via Kyiv, first take the train 129/130 Kremenchuk – Uzhhorod to Kyiv and then transfer to the train 105/106 Kyiv – Odesa.
In the opposite direction: by Intercity train #764 Odesa – Kyiv, and then by regional train #792 Kyiv – Kremenchuk.
Residents of Cherkasy canget to Odesa by train #43/44 Cherkasy – Ivano-Frankivsk to Kyiv, and then by train #105 Kyiv – Odesa. The same route is used in the opposite direction.
UZ reminded that ticket sales for domestic flights open 20 days before the departure date at 08:00.
It should be noted that from December 17 to 20, railroad workers will carry out repair work on the Kolomyia-Chernivtsi section, which will temporarily affect the routes of some passenger and suburban trains.
