State-owned Ukreximbank has provided financing to Sheptytska City Council (Lviv region) in the amount of UAH 16.9 million for the construction of new modular boiler houses in educational institutions in Sosnivka. This is stated on the website of the financial institution, Komersant ukrainskyi reports.

The loan was granted for a period of 60 months.

“The new construction of modular boiler houses in educational institutions in Sosnivka is an important step for the Sheptytska city territorial community. Due to the long period of operation, the heating networks in the city have already exhausted their standard resource and have significant defects, which leads to emergencies. Cooperation with JSC Ukreximbank in financing this project will help our community become energy independent and create comfortable conditions for students during the heating season,” said Andriy Zalivskyi, Mayor of Sheptytska urban territorial community.

“Ukreximbank implements important and necessary projects for the population of territorial communities of Ukraine. Financing the construction of new boiler houses for educational institutions in Sosnivka and preparing for the heating season is a significant contribution to the future of the younger generation,” added Oleh Kniaz, Deputy Head of Ukreximbank’s Lviv branch.

“This financing once again confirms that the state-owned Ukreximbank is focused on implementing projects not only with large communities, but also with small territorial communities. This is the third territorial community in Lviv region to receive a loan from the Bank. The needs of the community are important to us, and our goal is to help ensure favorable conditions for our future during the period of martial law,” said Mykhailo Medko, Member of the Management Board of Ukreximbank.
