Rains to cover Ukraine: weather forecast for May 28

Today, on May 28, 2025, cloudy weather with rains of varying intensity is expected in most regions of Ukraine. This is due to atmospheric fronts in the low pressure field. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
Only the eastern regions, including Sumy at night and Mykolaiv and Kherson during the day, will remain outside the influence of these fronts, and therefore with weather without precipitation
In particular, moderate rains are predicted in the Carpathian region. Significant rains are forecast in some places in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovs’k, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions, and in the afternoon.
The wind will be southeast, northwest in the west of the country, 7-12 m/s, gusts of 15-20 m/s are likely in the afternoon on the Left Bank and in the Carpathians.
The temperature in the western regions will be 7-12° at night and 13-18° during the day.
In the rest of the country it will be 13-18° at night, 18-23° during the day, and 24-27° in the eastern regions.
