Warming awaits Ukraine: weather forecast for February 26

On February 26, Ukraine is expected to have a weather without precipitation in most regions, with cold air moving eastward. Temperatures will drop slightly at night, especially in the west of the country, and temperatures will rise during the day. This is reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the Ukrainian Weather Center.
Cold air will gradually move eastward, which will cause a significant drop in temperature in this region, while in the western regions the frost will ease. Low cloudy weather will contribute to significant daily temperature fluctuations, so warming is expected in most regions during the day.
In the eastern, Sumy and Dnipropetrovs’k regions, partly cloudy weather is forecast, with light snow possible in some places. Night temperatures here will drop to -12…-17°C, and during the day -3…-8°C is expected.
In other regions of the country, the weather will be cloudy and without precipitation. The temperature at night will be -7…-12°C, and during the day it will rise to 0…5°C. In the western regions, it will be even warmer: -2…-7°C at night and 5…10°C during the day.
Ice will remain on the roads of the northern, central and eastern regions, so drivers and pedestrians should be careful. The wind is expected to be from the southeast, at a speed of 3-8 m/s.
