Ukrainian cities ranked among the most expensive in Europe: list

Three Ukrainian cities have been included in the list of the most expensive cities in Europe, based on the cost of living and property prices. This is reported by "Komersant Ukrainian" with reference to the global database Numbeo.

The experts assessed the cost of living, quality of life and property prices.

The result was a cost of living index.

The most expensive cities are Geneva, Switzerland (101.7) and Zurich (100.4).

They are followed by Icelandic Reykjavik (83.9), English London (78.7), Norwegian Oslo (78.4), Danish Copenhagen (75.7), French Paris (73.6), Finnish Espoo (73.1), Scottish Edinburgh (69.9) and Dutch Amsterdam (69.7).

The capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, ranks 91st in the ranking of the most expensive cities. Odesa and Lviv are in 93rd and 94th place respectively. They are slightly ahead of Belarus’ Minsk, which is in 92nd place.

Economists also named the countries with the best salaries in the world. Ukraine was ranked 107th in the ranking.

We would like to add that Ukraine has dropped 13 places in the global ranking of the happiest countries over the past year and is now at 105th place .
