Ukrainian companies can receive a grant of up to EUR 4 million from the Netherlands: how to apply

The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) has announced the launch of the Ukraine Partnership Facility 2024 to support economic recovery and sustainable development of Ukrainian society. This is reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, Komersant ukrainskyi informs

The subsidy is intended for the following industries:

  • Agriculture
  • Water resources management
  • Health care
  • Sustainable energy and sustainable environmental construction.

EUR 32.5 million has been allocated for the partnership program with Ukraine. The minimum grant amount is 500 thousand euros and the maximum is 4 million euros.

The program reimburses up to 95% of total eligible costs for each project. Projects do not have to be commercially funded or profitable.

The program does not cover emergency assistance.

Grant applications under the Ukraine Partnership Facility 2024 program can be submitted until January 30, 2025.

Who can participate

The grant is available for partnerships that include at least one local organization in Ukraine and one Dutch company.

The lead applicant must be a Dutch company or civil society organization.

When submitting projects, the following conditions must be taken into account: projects must have an impact on further economic and social development in Ukraine, as well as a long-term impact on the local community or a network of businesses and civil society organizations.

For example, these could be projects that promote local employment and job opportunities.

Projects that contribute to the reconstruction of facilities damaged or destroyed by war are also eligible. Feasibility studies, pilot projects, and projects based on technologies that are at an experimental stage are not eligible.
