More than UAH 1 billion of grant funds were received by agricultural enterprises under the government support programme. This was reported by Komersant ukrainskyi with reference to the the post by Vitaliy Koval, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on Telegram.
“Ukrainian agricultural producers continue to use government initiatives to help small and medium-sized businesses. Since the beginning of 2024, 87 decisions have been made to provide grants worth UAH 332.9 million for the creation of gardens and greenhouses. The last disbursement took place on 20 September, when three more companies received UAH 8.3 million for the development of gardens and greenhouses,” Koval wrote.
In total, since the start of the programme, 56 agricultural enterprises have received funds for the development of greenhouses totalling over UAH 289.3 million.
And for the development of horticulture, berry growing and viticulture, grants were paid to 182 agricultural enterprises in the amount of UAH 771.9 million.
The total amount of such funds since 1 July 2022 is over UAH 1.06 billion for 238 agricultural enterprises.
How to get the service

- Click the “Apply” option
- Register or log in with the key of a sole proprietor or head of a legal entity from the EDRPOU of enterprises on the Diia portal.
- Fill out the online application.
- Attach a scanned copy of the planting project to the application. It must be signed by the project developer. The application will not be considered without such a copy.
- Sign the document with an electronic signature and send it.
What sections should the planting project contain
- an explanatory note;
- master plan;
- estimate documentation;
- passport of the working project.
Planting projects must meet the following criteria
- suitability of the culture;
- suitability of the area where the planting is planned to be carried out;
- suitability of the land plot area;
- compliance with the intended purpose of the land plot;
- availability of mandatory irrigation with indication of the source of water intake (for all crops except grapes);
- mandatory installation of trellises;
- number of seedlings per hectare;
- plant varieties from the State Register of Plant Varieties or the State Register of Patents for Plant Varieties.
