Taxi company Uklon is considering the return of curfew trips. The company’s CEO Sergey Grishkov said this in an interview with Forbes, reports Komersant ukrainskyi.
“We have a number of official requests from local administrations asking us to return the service to curfew hours,” Grishkov said.
According to him, the service may be restored at night in some cities in the western regions of Ukraine. The company is currently discussing the issue of returning night rides with local government and military authorities and law enforcement agencies.
Uklon was the only ridesharing service that allowed for curfew trips during the full invasion. They explained that they were making an exception for people facing emergencies. However, they denied violating the curfew. However, on 14 March 2024, the company restricted the curfew service following a request from the Kyiv Patrol Police, which they received on 7 March.
